Easy access, paved roads. Exciting climb to the top of the mountain – you will be so thrilled to see the view!
Sunset Ridge chalet is nestled into the mountain top with beautiful views of the mountains at sunset from the back deck and feels very secluded even though it is part of a charming mountain neighborhood. It has been recently remodeled with chic designer touches with comfort and conversation in mind.
Adventurous folks will enjoy so many options: hiking, rafting, tubing, zip lining, biking and even skiing and snow tubing all around the area. There’s also two beautiful lakes, Lake Rabun and Lake Burton, very close by.

We have a single Nest Security Door Bell at the front entrance for safety but there are no security cameras inside or in any common/social areas. Your privacy is very important and we respect that.

Sunset Ridge, our home is at the top of the mountain with amazing views. The neighbors are friendly, and each home is unique. We are nearby to a popular golf resort, award winning restaurants, wineries and breweries and a spa right around the corner! You are close to tons of hiking, rafting, boating, fishing, horseback riding and amazing scenic drives. You will be amazed at what there is to do in Clayton and surrounding areas in North Georgia!
Parking: 4 average cars/maybe a 5th. No on street parking next to the house. **Please contact us if you think you may have more than 4-5 vehicles.
Access is very good with all paved roads and in typical weather, 4WD is not needed. Drive carefully as roads are windy up the mountain. Note there is no Wi-Fi after you enter then neighborhood until you get to the house and connect to the internet. We recommend screen-shotting the directions to the house before you enter the neighborhood.
Grocery stores, Walmart, restaurants, pharmacies, fast food, shops are all within 5-10 minutes from the house.
Fantastic restaurants and unique experiences await in Downtown Clayton 5 minutes down the hill.

We are nestled in the Northeast Georgia Mountains and it’s not really far from places people commonly search for like Cleveland, Helen or Dahlonega – but our area is packed full of amenities and you definitely need to come and check it out and you’ll need several days just to scratch the surface of all it has to offer! You’ll be very pleasantly surprised at your fantastic find in Clayton, Georgia!

Look up ‘Explore Rabun’, ‘365 Atlanta Traveler’ and ‘Explore Georgia’ sites and you’ll be absolutely blown away by all of the incredible travel itinerary options you will have in the area! And remember, almost all of the surrounding towns will advertise that you have to check out Downtown Clayton for the best dining and shopping — so why not just stay right IN Clayton? That’s where we are!
According to Explore Georgia, Clayton GA is a “farm-to-table capital of Georgia that offers up award-winning chefs cooking dishes with buttery biscuits and tender, fresh-from-the-farm, local meats and vegetables.”-365Atlantatraveler
If you travel to Clayton from Atlanta, I recommend heading up 985. It turns into 23 and then merges with 441. It’s this route that offers a TON of great sites, each one is either right on the highway or not too far from it.
Must sign rental agreement upon booking

If bringing pets-must send proof/verification of current flea and tick application/rabies
Must submit a $1000 off-platform security hold that will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure.
Must follow all house rules including no smoking, limit of # of cars and people, no parties/events, and agree to pet policy guidelines.
